What is the Training Center?
The Training Center is a 3-year course of study designed to create mature men of God who will lead in the local church. It focuses on creating a solid foundation in the Bible and theology, teaching men to shepherd the local church and teaching men to lead in the local church.
What is involved in the Training Center?
Year 1 - Bible & Theology
- • Semester 1 includes a comprehensive overview of theology, focusing on key verses used in shepherding
- • Semester 2 provides an Overview of Theology, including major areas like Theology Proper, Christology, Ecclesiology and Eschatology as well as the practical application in real-life situations
Year 2 - Shepherding
- • This year includes a focus on learning to preach and teach, and introduction to Biblical Greek, counseling as well as focusing on preparing for practical pastoral tasks, like weddings, funerals and choosing elders.
Year 3 - Leadership
- • Focuses on setting ministry direction, creating a philosophy of ministry, leading change in the local church, advanced teaching, preaching and exegesis, and understanding your unique purpose in God’s work.
